Our consultation with Randy was the most exceptionally unprofessional experience I've ever had with a counselor or therapist.

In the last year I've gone through an extremely difficult break-up with my daughter's father, and we have not dealt well with the high inter-personal conflict between us. In turn that conflict has caused some very serious issues with attempting to set-up visitation. We don't need counseling to save our relationship, but we do need to establish better communication and respectful treatment in order to be good co-parents. It's a tense and high conflict situation between us that needs the right person to help us find a way out of it. We both have a lot of pent up anger and frustration, and are pretty stuck in unhealthy ways of trying to express our frustrations and needs. We need both mediation and guidance on how to be better. I completely understand if a counselor doesn't feel they are a good fit.

What I don't understand is someone who calls themselves a counselor saying don't bother trying. During our consultation, Randy offered no guidance, no insight, no suggestions on better treatment options, and worse, rather than simply saying he wasn't a good fit or offering a suggestion on what might be, he had the audacity to say "Man, don't bother she's never going to be happy, get a lawyer."

Even if that was his personal opinion as a brother-in-arms, it is beyond unprofessional and inappropriate as a couples counselor. We need help to try to find a way out of this mess, hope for change, not someone to fan the flames.

I wouldn't recommend getting counseling here based solely on the fact that they are rude and unfriendly. Very few of my questions were answered, which is unacceptable. I went there for information and got very little. I don't feel like they listened to my perspective at all. They had already come to a conclusion about me before I had the chance to speak my mind.

Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. I can tell it is maybe not a top priority to maintain a professional appearance here. They didn't look terrible, but there is definitely lots of room for improvement. I would recommend them to anyone. They helped me so much, and I have already told my friends, family, and anyone who is willing to listen!
