Working and facilitating change directly with clients is my passion and my special interests are in working in the areas of trauma particularly with women and children. I have extensive experience in the area of child abuse, foster care and adoption, grief and loss and health care including end of life issues. Other areas of my private practice focus include anxiety, depression, and couple's therapy as well as adjustment to changes which are impeding my client's everyday joy. I enjoy family therapy, individual and couple therapy and as a bilingual therapist particularly enjoy helping families who speak Spanish or a combination of Spanish and English. Clients see my style as comfortable, caring, direct and honest. Each client is treated on an individual basis with the focus being on the client's desired goal.
