Services Individual Psychotherapy for adults:
I combine Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with Mind-Body Techniques to work with you as a whole person, not a diagnosis. In my years as a therapist, seeing people grow during treatment and become who they want to be always feels like a wonderful gift.

And please bring your sense of humor to our work. It's most helpful.

Joan is awesome. Changed my life. What a pain in the neck I was when I began seeing her! She used irony, among other things, to call attention to where my thoughts and behaviors were at odds with my goals. It has been 10 years since I last saw her. And it has been 15 or even 20 years since she said some of the most impactful things anyone's ever said to me that changed my life. I still think of her often. I am in training to be a therapist myself. I also continue to see a therapist. By my lights, Joan remains the gold standard.

I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. She is most wonderful and I have nothing bad to say about her.
