Approach was unique and puzzling at first, as Dr. Kopolow required group sessions but to discuss meds best/worst practices vs. feelings/issues. Though I hesitated at first, participants shared and he confirmed that specific times were key for certain Rx/meds. Same with taking with or without meals. Also noticed those who really listened, really progressed. Ultimately useful, though not fully satisfying as 1on1 therapy. Dr. knowledge of pharmaceuticals was astounding and dead-on. Unfortunately, policy was inflexible and did not take into account that work/life issues could impact patients' abilities to always attend and/or call in for refills on time. When this occurred to me, the Dr. became incensed and inflexible. No explanation was acceptable. A real loss to me, as I valued his counsel and professional acumen.
