Dr. Rebecca R. Miles helped me salvage my life when I was on the verge of ending it. I went to her when I hit rock bottom. She not only helped me put the pieces back together, but I left her care with a sense of self-worth and determination that I couldn't have hoped for when I first went to consult with her. Her staff was always courteous, helpful, and flexible. I rarely waited more than a few minutes to be seen. Dr. Miles herself is qualified, knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. She maintains her practice out of love for helping people, not for money or publication. During talk therapy, she doesn't waste a lot of time with B.S. or pandering, but she manages to make those penetrating insights with a personable and comforting approach. I never once felt judged during therapy with her. She's very good at finding the silver lining and pointing out a different and constructive way to look at things that come up in conversation. Her skill with neurotherapy also proved to be a wonderful supplement to our talk therapy. If you are in need and looking for a knowledgeable, non-judgmental professional motivated by compassion and a genuine desire to help her clients, then you have found the right psychologist.
