My review is based on extensive experience of over 20 visits to the practice in the last year. The office is sparan-small and unkempt. The office staff is rude and arrogant. The counselor is a rrogant. He does not communicate adequately with other practitioners in his own practice. He delegates too much responsibility, then acts as if he was present during many sessions that he was not. He does not adequately analyze data or make logical comparisons to other people. He is self-serving and will throw you under the bus to save his face. He makes decisions and rash statements that are not based on facts or on his own conversations. This is the worst place you can go! Stay away from this practice because Dr. Christiano will damage your life to work his way deeper into doing court-appointed pshychologist work. Incidentally, many messages were not returned promptly. He will not show up for court hearings that will delay your case. He is easily manipulated by a snake attorney to do the bidding of your ex-wife, and this will lead to you having less parenting time with your children. They are by far the worst psychologist I've ever been to. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. The judge in my case questions this counselor's integrity and judgment.
Dr. Christiano is a very nice soft spoken person. As far as being an effective Psychologist I would have to say he is not. We had our son seeing him for almost two years and in that time we did not se e any improvement with his ADD and/or learning disabilities. It was mostly a 45min how`s it going talk during each secession with no real testing or therapy of any kind. The so called Add test consisted of a general questionaire that our son his teachers, pediatriction, and ourselves filled out. His recommendation was basically to place the responsibility for our sons treatment back on the school and us. We were not updated on his progress or I should say lack there of. His office manager was also not very organized. She would mess up scheduling our appointments and we would show up for nothing or have to re-schedule us at the last minute on short notice alot. Don`t waste your money and valuable therapy time unless your just looking to pay for a place for your child to sit and <url removed> son suffered in school due to the time we wasted going to Dr. Christiano expecting to recieve proper therapy and improvement!
