My son developed right facial paralysis after wisdom tooth extraction and the surgeon did not like answering our questions. He did not refer us to anyone for the necessary follow up care; he did not treat the acute Bells Palsy with any medications or warn my son of complications. He addressed me as 'mom' the entire time. He advised my son that it was ok to play a rough contact sport while on Vicadin.
