I visited Quarryville Family dentistry in 2012 as I work out of town 95% of the time, I was not local to the area, and I had an abscess tooth that needed some attention. I wanted some additional work done and during that process, I must say that my experience was less than desirable, I was consistently harassed as soon as I walked in the office in regards to upfront payment for services, that Dr. Leibold hadn't even performed. To make a really long story short, I paid $22,726.00 in advance for cosmetic dental work. A detailed plan and breakdown of pricing was discussed in depth and documented between Dr. Leibold and myself, and I was assured that there would not be any additional cost, as I had already exhausted my monetary resources, even taking a withdrawal from my company 401K, using credit cards, as well as personal savings. Dr. Liebold assured me that everything was covered under the plan we discussed.
To my displeasure the plan was constantly changing and the staff was very unprofessional, and demanded payment upfront for the changes, or they was not going to continue with the work that had already been paid for in advance. The billing of what I did prepay for was inaccurate, they charged me the full amount of a four part treatment on my first visit. this is just one example, there is more scenarios, but due to space limitations I'm unable to include on this review.

During my cosmetic procedure, Dr. Leibold caused trauma to one of my front teeth, in turn was a veneer crown over my front tooth, in which I had to have a root canal on the tooth, which Dr. Leibold charged me an additional $1162 to correct the issue of trauma he caused, think about that, Why would I pay for "Damage" he caused? I ask the question to him, and his response was sometimes this will happen, my response was you have 75-100 x-rays, which you should have identified an issue from the x-rays. Certain staff was very, very rude, and demanded payment immediately, and I spoke with Dr. Leibold about that type of behavior, and displeasure of there approach, he never responded to my complaint, or even tried to resolve the issue.
The planned work was only partially completed, but "Had been PRE-PAID in advance", I have been requesting he reimburse me for the work that was not completed since 2012, which is $7,389.00, which Dr. Leibold has never responded to my request for reimbursement, I have been totally ignored. Like they say a lesson learned here, "Its always harder to get your money back once they have it in their account".
I am an Executive of a very large company, and the question is how long would the company be in business if they conducted business like that or I allowed my staff to treat customers in a very unprofessional manner. That answer is clear to me, not long at all.
I have seen another posting from a lady that went to "QFD" and her story is very familiar with his office staff approach demanding payment before services are provided, and how rude some of his staff is in the very unprofessional approach pushing for payment just like my story. The approach for extra work that was never discussed prior to services. There is some nice folks that work there, and Dr. Leibold is a nice guy, but "wrong is wrong". I drove 12 hours round trip for an appointment, and when I got there, I was approached for payment for a tooth extraction that wasn't ever discussed with me, and I advised I'm not paying for something that wasn't on the plan and unnecessary, they promptly took the towel from around my neck and I left the office very frustrated and discouraged and felt like I was viewed as if I had Dollar Signs on my forehead when I walked in the door.

I still have "UNFINISHED" dental work that I have paid for in advance and to date have not been reimbursed for. This was a very bad experience with Quarryville Family Dentistry, which was a very bad one. I would not recommend going to his office for any dental needs.

The one star rating is that he does have "SOME" nice staff, and he is a nice guy!
