I want to give a negative review to the review system these sites use. Talk about cookie cutter! How about just forgoing the silly questions and letting us give a review.

As far as this dentist goes, I've regularly been charged over $250 for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes of the dentist's actual time.

They follow the same system that most large health care providers do, spreading too many patients over one or two Doctors, so that they can rake in more money. I kinda feel like just a sheep or cow or something being herded around when I go into places like this.

For scheduled procedures, it generally goes pretty quick, they are friendly, and they get right to work. The work is itself is decent, though I have seem better.

Despite all the excuses of how much this piece or that piece of equipment or insurance costs, how many employees need to be paid, or the cost of education, I just can't see any justification for high prices. I'd be friendly too if I were making $800-$1200 an hour for my team.

The usual 10 or 15 minutes that the Dr. is actually in my mouth working just doesn't equate with the high price. The majority of time spent seems to be all filler and fluff - the greeter/hygienist spends a minute or two prepping you, then a fairly long wait for the Dr., then the procedure, then the bill. I suppose the 'four-course-meal' is intended to give you the feeling that you are getting your money's worth, but I can't help but think that many patients see through all of that.

In addition, I do feel like I have had quite a few unnecessary procedures done here, even when I told them that I couldn't afford to financially, and the things I felt needed to be checked out, went unnoticed,

I just can't give a positive review of Port and Solomon, I'm sorry. :(
