I'm not someone who posts reviews, but feel compelled to do so regarding Deep River Wellness Center.

After a very encouraging initial visit, I was later extremely disappointed in Michael's unwillingness to discuss something with me on the phone.

He was willing to talk with me BEFORE I came in as a client, but AFTER my initial visit I was informed... once by Michael and twice by his receptionist, that he wouldn't speak with me.

Surprisingly, he DID end up calling me, and when I politely tried to express my concerns, he cut me off and was very aggressive. I asked why he cut me off without hearing me out, but he simply told me he didn't want to work with me any longer, rudely & arrogantly saying, "People like you are never happy."

My biggest disappointment and concern is that Michael Norris presents himself as a caring, Christian health practitioner, and he did appear to be so during my visit, calling me "brother" on several occasions.

As a Christian man myself, I found his manner and rudeness after the visit to be the polar opposite of "Christian".

I would ask for a refund on his "services", but don't want to be subjected to his thin-skinned bullying again.

If I could rate his practice with zero stars, I surely would.

I came to Deep River Wellness because my mother recommended acupuncture and herbs. Never before had I any experience with acupuncture. I had Bells Palsy and had been paralyzed (face) for 9 weeks. Western doctors told me they'd remove a nerve from my leg and put it in my face. Michael Norris was very confident when he heard my case and was not dissuaded. Muscle degeneration had already began in my face, but he started with the treatment right away. Immediately after the very first visit, I had one muscle function return to my face. A couple days later, I returned for my second treatment and got another muscle back working. This continued for about ten visits and now I am 95% restored to normal... 6 years later. Amazing doctor.
