Ms. Allen served on the clinical Faculty of the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of AZ College of Medicine from 1998-2001; and was a credentialed provider at the AZ Health Sciences Center, working with Dr. Andrew Weil, MD. Known for her keen diagnostic abilities and educative approach to care, she provides a broad scope of expertise that covers traditional Chinese Herbology, Acupuncture, Physical Medicine (cupping, tuina, gua sha), and 18 years of clinical experience in virtually every aspect of her field.
She served as President of the Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Society of MA from 2003-06, and an Advisory Board Member of Acupuncturists Without Borders from 2006-07. From late 2010 - 2011, she served on a select Steering Committee of the U. of AZ Center for Integrative Medicine, tasked with the design of 2 new IM Primary Care clinics in Phoenix and Tucson. At the AZ Cancer Center in Tucson, she is a trusted resource for doctors on the Supportive Care Team, who refer cancer patients to her care.
