Fery was trained in holistic healing and special education at Rudolph Steiner's premier school for Anthroposophy, The Goetheanum, in Dornach Switzerland. Fery focused her studies on deep muscle therapy, a form of massage therapy. The title of Heilpedagogue was awarded to her in 1975.
