Dr. Kroening taught me that I was in charge of my Pain and to always remember I was never a lone. Any person with chronic pain knows when you are a lone, the demons will do anything to take control. In today's world we have so many new items that we can turn to, I.e., computers, iPads, iPods, etc. we can get out of our heads and join into another world. Back in 1991, we had very little like today so I would retreat into books. I'm not saying my pain is 100% under control, not by a long shot, but his teachings along with his staff are the main reason I'm still here. After 27 years I'm still fighting,
