What a horrible experience. I scheduled an appointment, was told by the phone that I should expect at least an hour wait. I show up a half hour late, wiht a half hour spare. I wound up waiting a total of 2.5 hours to be seen. The nurse behind the counter was unprofessional, rude, confrontational, and I could hear her loudly complaining about me specifically to her co-workers. The only reason I continued to be polite was my medical condition- I had a growth that needed to be looked at. I spent 5 minutes with the doctor herself, who promptly burned it off, and only after she was finished did she ask me questions about it. When she found out it had returnedafter I had personally removed it, she frowned and burned it deeper.
I was told to expect a couple days for the lab results. It took 8 days, 6 of which were business days. I was called by a nurse who beat around the bush, and finally after pointedly asking her she ocnfirmed it was a tumor. I asked her about the tumor's cause, source, other basic and pertinent information. She had nothing to offer. I wrote down its name and researched it myself, swearing I'd never go back there again.
Today I received a bill, for the first time in 359 days, warning that I did not pay the bill in full. It seems insurance missed $8.83, and instead of contacting me by any form of communication in the past 359 days, I received a letter informing me it was now in collection's hands.
The lack of respect, professionalism, medical integrity and follow-through is disturbing.

I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. One of the few dermatologist in town that still accept insurance for claims filing. Expect to wait for some time, even with an appointment. Office is very busy, but physciain and staff are very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns.
