Love the doctor but her receptionist is rude and impatient. Interacting with her is very difficult for me. Every time I see her or speak to her on the phone, she uses such a nasty annoyed tone and scolds me about something (often something beyond my control), making it abundantly clear through her attitude and tone that I have inconvenienced her in an unacceptable way. I've heard her speak this way to other people as well; even though there were several people in the waiting room, she loudly complained about one woman not having had an appointment for a long time. I could see how embarrassed the woman was to be scolded like a child. Thinking of changing Drs due to this person who always makes me feel so upset.

The doctor has an old-fashion hometown doctor style that is very rare these days. She has never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant. She is thorough, efficient and pleasant. The office is comfortable and very close to public transportation, but parking is difficult. (This site does not reflect the change of address for the doctor. She has moved a few blocks closer to the subway in a shared office which is very well maintained.) I'm not kept waiting long. I have been a patient for over 5 years and never had an appointment postponed. I always enjoy my appointments here and feel "known." It seems that reviews at this site are "coached" based on different questions in a questionnaire.
