Dr. Shapiro is outstanding. I've been a patient of his for about six years and he is about the most sincere, caring, detailed doctor with whom I've ever been a patient. He makes you feel extremely comfortable during eye exam visits, is detailed and actually listens to and respects your input as the patient. Many doctors can learn from him. There have been a time or two where I had a concern or just a general question about my vision, glasses, etc and I e-mailed Dr. Shapiro. Honestly, I did not expect a reply. To my amazement, each time did so he replied to my e-mail personally within an hour....and all times I sent and received his reply on evenings and even weekends. As if not enough getting a reply, his replies are lengthy, detailed and incredible. Highly recommended.
