The doctor would not provide information and was very defensive when I asked questions regarding medication side affects of what he wanted to prescribe for me. Most of the staff were cold and only one nurse was friendly. The doctor would yell at his staff thru the door and in front of patients. The wait time is anywhere from one to four hours. Very little was accomplished and I had to leave after the third hour of waiting during my second visit. I thought the first visit was a fluke and that he had a bad day. I wanted to give him a chance. I could hear other patients crying out in pain and repeatedly asking when they were going to be next. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. The doctor whined of other patients needing to see him instead of being sympathetic to their needs. Afterall, he is a pain management doctor. He also would regale stories of their confidential information and would repeat several times over. The staff mentioned this doctor used to be a great doctor but as he grew older, he is now ready to retire as he no longer has his heart in the job. He may have been good in the past but the person I met was not someone who liked their job at all.

The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. They had a huge selection of magazines in the waiting room. I was able to find some of my favorites and they kept me entertained while I was waiting for my appointment. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. Compassion is important and i had a taste of another pain clinic today and would rather pay cash to see Dr.Hopkins then use my insurance and wait for 2and a half hour and accomplish nothing at his competition.. Hopkins is the Man.I have seen so many doctors for my back pain and he is amazing at Blocks and pain treatment.
