A medically oriented comprehensive eye practice handling eye diseases as well as routine contact lens and spectacle fittings. Dr Manuel established this practice in 1989 and has provided all vision care and ocular research for NASA's Astronaut Corps for the past 16 years. He holds academic and staff positions at UH College of Optometry and Baylor College of Medicine, Dept of Ophthalmology. He retired from the US Air Force following 30 years of service in the rank of COLONEL and has two sons serving in the military.

Dr. Manuel was very professional and thorough , I didn't think my vision couldn't get clearer than what it was...Dr. Manuel suggested a newer contact lens that what I was already wearing..(HARD LENSES..yuck) The new lenses were more than a bit PRICEY,but worth the $$$...I recommend Dr. Manuel very highly....He went over and beyond dealing with my kerakatonis and making sure the NEW lenses were a good fit for me.

I have always been treated professionally and with warmth . I had to call in for an emergency call - I had a concern and they fit me in that day . I strongly suggest using these optometrists .
