I will never go back to Dr. LeeAnn Skaff's office.

There were so many things wrong during my initial visit.

(1) Wait time: I had to wait over 2 hours to get back to a patient room and then waited for an additional hour in the exam room. I was there at the office for a total of 4 hours that day. There is an office policy that if there are more than 4 patients ahead of you that you can check in and then go have lunch and go shopping while you wait. Seems to only want to get heads in the door and doesn't care if you wait all day. No respect for patient's time to schedule that many people that close together in appointment times if that doctor can't handle in a timely manner.

(2) Staff turnaround: The staff were all new and all said they had been there for about a week, one nurse said she had been there 2 months and that was the one seemingly guiding the others. Staff seemed to be struggling knowing what their role was. I even learned as a new patient that they didn't even get lunch due to the hours and having patients waiting to be seen etc., said they "just get used to it." I just called about my bill and I was told that they have all new staff again and it's only been 3 weeks since I was there. Can't keep staff there.

(3) Experience with physician: On initial visit for this endocrinologist, after 3 hour wait, she spent 5 minutes with me, didn't look me in the eye, wrote in her medical records behind me on the exam table so I talked to her over my shouder. She just threw a bunch of written prescriptions and papers at me, spoke real low and was just overwhelming to deal with.

(4) I was also given a couple of cardiology testing which isn't her specialty, but apparently was part of her routine initial patient exams. I was then put on a heart monitor and told my heart was failing and that I needed to see a cardiologist right away. My cardiologist read my tests and they were normal and fine. She put me through unnecessary emotional stress telling me that the tests were bad when they were fine.

(5) Subsequently, this office said they accepted my insurance in network when I called to make appointment and upon receiving bill, they did not. Now I have a bill that I shouldn't have and am having to dispute. Their billing company doesn't even have a regular contact person or office manager that stays there long enough to deal with in regards to billing disputes like this. It's just a mess.

Worst doctor experience ever.

I have become very frustrated with this doctors office. The wait time is is extremely long(2 to 3 hours) and Dr. Skaff spent less that 5 minutes with me each visit. The desk staff is not very accommodating either.
