Services Neurology is the medical specialty that diagnoses disorders and treats illnesses of the nervous system, including the central nervous system (cerebrum, brainstem, cerebellum, meninges, and spinal cord) and the perpheral nervous system (cranial nerves, spinal roots, autonomic nervous system, peripheral nerves, and muscle)

Neurologists are physicians who, by taking a careful history and performing examination, try to identify which part of the nervous system is abnormal (anatomy). Then, by special testing, try to understand what is the underlying cause of the disorder (etiology), order specific treatments to reverse and stabilize the condition, and, finally, counsel the patient and family on steps they can take to improve their health and prevent future disease and disability.

We see patients Monday through Fridays from 8-5, and the third Saturday of the month. On Thursday mornings Dr Andrew pursues continuing medical education through Neurology Grand Rounds at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. We accept most insurances, and will work with you if we do not.
