Taijiquan (Taoist Tai Chi) is a low impact form of exercise that can help improve the mental and physical health of most people. It is made up of 108 moves that are linked together into a smooth flowing exercise of the mind and body. It is based on the Yang style, long form of Tai Chi. The Taoist Tai Chi Society's internal arts of health incorporate stretching and turning into a sequence of movements that improve the health of body, mind, and spirit. They reduce tension, improve circulation and balance, and increase strength and flexibility. Over time, these internal arts reach deep inside the body to benefit its entire physiology and restore the calmness and peace of mind often lost through the excessive desires and anxieties of daily life.
