Very interesting. However, you know those stories about people who had the wrong limb operated on, or the wrong limb amputated? What happens now when someone gets the wrong cells and as a result a nose is regenerated on their hand? Talk about malpractice!!!
There's always a risk of error with everything. I see no reason to be afraid of any technology due to the possibility of an error, unless the possible error rate is particularly high or the consequence will cause me to turn inside out or something. :-/
You do not see a reason to be afraid of new medical technology such as this? I'm not saying people shouldn't entertain the thought where it would really make a difference. But what if there isn't a possibility of being turned inside out, but instead of regenerating nose cells and tissue you grew a penis on your face b/c some medical technician mixed up cells and vials? Are you going to tell me that you don't think that's possible?

Sure, that's a possibility, but that's what scientific testing is for. So far, that hasn't happened. I think it's a little more precise than just putting some cells on someone and seeing what grows. Growing the wrong stuff isn't the risk. The risk is with organ replacement where it's not quite the same and there are complications. Or it may be an ethical issue. Maybe only wealthy people will be able to afford to have their organs replaced from their own cells.
